In the Indian state of Kerala, local forest guard Roshni has caught the world's largest venomous snake, NDTV reported.
Roshni engaged in a battle with the snake after being called by locals. They complained to the forest guard about a king cobra that had occupied a stream where they usually bathe. The five-meter snake actively resisted Roshni's actions, but she managed to deal with it.
Their battle was captured on video.
The woman then released the snake into the wild. Roshni has served as a forest guard for eight years. During this time, she has caught more than 800 snakes, but this was the first time she had encountered a king cobra. Former forest ranger Susanta Nanda called the woman a "queen".
