The prediction of British physicist Stephen Hawking about an “alien invasion“ may come true due to the appearance of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, which was discovered by a group of scientists from Harvard University, writes the Daily Mail.
The physicist claimed that excessive self-confidence threatens with catastrophic consequences. Before his death at the age of 76, Hawking warned that people should not react to signals sent to Earth from space.
“Stephen Hawking's terrible warning to humanity may come true after the famous scientist said that he encountered a “hostile“ "extraterrestrial life could happen in a few months," the publication notes.
