We won't comment on their offensive credentials, but their scams shouldn't be missed because that's how they got voters' trust the first time around. And even when they were overthrown, they still rose to power with their help, instead of being punished.
And now they are trying to lure the voters again, shifting the blame from the sick to the healthy head, turning a blind eye to the chorus of disgust with their rule. But lies have short legs - let's remind them of folk wisdom.
To the amnesia of Hristo Ivanov, co-chairman of PPDB, who wrote the changes in the Constitution, we must add that, apart from their obsession with key ministerial posts, it would hardly have been possible to hold elections if the basic law had not been amended and already there is no fear that the powerlessness of official offices may return.
The bad news for PPDB is coming in an avalanche. There is no way this time the trick will pass with the familiar skeletons from the closet - “corruption”, “controlled judiciary and services”. The electors saw that, despite their oaths, they embraced several times with those they accused. This time “the water pitcher has broken”, the revulsion is so great that a punitive vote will marginalize them and render meaningless the political ambitions of their mercantile leaders.
And that's not all. There are no parliamentary parties that are not against them. It was seen by the lightning return of the mandate with which they had previously ruled. The reason is that there is no party they have governed with that they have not cheated. We will recall that they first threw the president, who actually entrusted them with power.
And now not “lap”, but “joker” to political nothingness they will get.
Some will have to wear “striped” clothes in prison - because of the billion-dollar debt, allegedly taken for our prosperity, because of the unspent money from the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, and above all, because of the multimillion-dollar embezzlement by their fraudsters, including with a declared enemy country.
And what can we say about the prosecution for fraud by an American court of our finance minister in resignation for the party headquarters on "Chatalja" street? in the capital. In addition to returning it to the defrauded American citizen, the court commented on the corrupt deal: "Such a deal is considered corrupt in the US and the punishment is up to 100 years in prison for the perpetrators..."
In passing, we will add that both ambassadors and politicians from partner countries are tired of the denunciations, of the astonishing legal incompetence of Hristo Ivanov, former Minister of Justice and of Atanas Slavov, still a minister in resignation, and of the brutal ambition of the PPDB to “get up so I can sit”. But most of all, the diplomats are tired of waving them around like a scarecrow for "sanctions" so that the "charlatans" can spin their tricks undisturbed.
And last but not least, since the parliament had to change laws because of them, it is good to pass a law that obliges those who impose legal doubts on us to pay for the lost time in the plenary hall. How to pay for the extraordinary meetings held for compensation, to solve the delayed socially useful problems.
In fact, it would be best if the duped voters leave them out of parliament in the upcoming elections. And those who find themselves in the parliament should be careful what they do, so that the people's anger does not overtake them.
