I don't know Dogan and I don't drink coffee with Peevski. Borisov cannot claim the same, and try to twist the reality. Today it is easy to guess how the Rosenets mooring was a “punta mara”. However, then no one, including Borisov himself, was so erbap in front of the anger of the people who gathered a few days later in front of the Sarai to demand their country back.
Four years later, Bulgaria is still hostage to the "phenomenon" created by the DPS, to the "miracle child" that has become, in the full sense of the word, a "state enterprise". Rosenets was a highly symbolic action, which at the time achieved something important - it channeled people's discontent into a protest against the conquered state and its assailants. Yes, this energy was not accidentally used and squandered by various entities that squandered more than one chance for a reformist government. And at that time, one of the assassins of Bulgaria became so greedy that even his creator gave up on him. This does not automatically make Peevski's creator white and good. So Borisov can try all kinds of versions of reality, but that doesn't change the facts about Dogan, or the facts at all.
Borisov is not being asked to make empty promises today that he would not rule with Peevski. And before he formally did not do it - he sent Peevski to Dubai, denied interaction with him, but one thing became clear - the two are political partners.
Today, GERB's duty is to find a majority for the chairman of the National Assembly and the government. But in order to start any conversations, not a signature on a flyer is needed, but a clear commitment with our declaration of a "sanitary cordon" around Peevski and spelled out precisely - suspension of the procedure for the election of Sarafov and Cholakov, non-participation in majorities with DPS-NN, clear commitment to our anti-corruption program, not another "we'll see".
The reality today: Peevski and Borisov play theater, but the direction is weak. For me, the question now is: who cares to hold the cordon against Peevski with a majority? This is the stress test for Bulgarian democracy. The other is really a punta mara.
