Two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso extended his contract with Aston Martin, Focus reported.
The Spanish driver will drive at least until the end of the 2026 season according to the new contract.
Alonso is the most experienced driver in the history of Formula 1 and already has 384 starts behind him and is expected to pass the 400 mark this season.
The veteran has been tipped to replace Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes next season, but is apparently committed to Aston Martin.
