Grigor Dimitrov and Zizou Bergs from Belgium will play their third round match men's round of the French Open tennis championship today, FOCUS reported.
The two managed to play a set and a bit of the second before the match was finally postponed by the organizers.
The Bulgarian tennis player, who is #10 in the world and is placed under number 10 in the competition scheme, won the first set against the 104th ranked Bergs with 6:3 and 56 minutes of play.
The match was interrupted twice due to rain in the first half.
Dimitrov had a bad start to the match, and after only 3 minutes of play he was already behind by a break.
After two interruptions due to rain, the Bulgarian managed to get back into the match, returning the break for a 3:3 game, and then reached a new one to take the set.
Dimitrov had a great start to the second set and took the lead at his first opportunity. With a 2:1 game in the set and a fourth interruption of the match due to rain, the organizers decided to postpone the match to Saturday.
