Nikola Tsolov won his second victory in Formula 3, after jubilating in the sprint race at the “Red Bull Ring” in Austria, BTA reported.
The Bulgarian pilot started from third place, with only Christian Mansel and Martinius Stenshorn ahead of him. Already in the fourth turn, however, Nikola advanced by one position after making a very strong attack on the outside against the first Stenshorn.
Tsolov was in the lead until turn 15 when Mansell managed to regain the top spot in the third turn, but immediately Nikola countered successfully and regained the top spot.
In the general classification, Tsolov retains his 12th place with an asset of a total of 36 points, after today he also took the bonus point for the fastest tour. Leonardo Fornaroli remains in the lead with 84 points, Luke Browning is second with 79, and Gabriele Mini is third with 77.
The sixth race weekend of the Formula 3 season ends tomorrow with the main race at the “Red Bull Ring” track, which will start at 9:30 a.m. Bulgarian time. It will last 26 laps, and Nikola Tsolov will start from tenth place.
