Bulgarian Formula 3 driver Nikola Tsolov for the first time in his career ended a race weekend with two classifications in the points after he finished sixth today in the long race at the “Red Bull Ring”. Yesterday he triumphed in the sprint, BTA reported.
Tsolov started tenth and navigated the chaotic first corners perfectly to climb to eighth position. The Bulgarian had a good ride to the end and crossed the finish line in seventh place, but moved up one place after the finish due to a penalty for Alex Dunn.
Thus, Tsolov equaled his best ranking in a Formula 3 main event, which was achieved in Barcelona a week ago. The Bulgarian earned 19 points, with which he climbed to 10th place in the overall standings with an asset of 44 points.
