Italian club Juventus and Paul Pogba announced late last night that they had reached a mutual agreement to terminate the midfielder's contract on November 30.
The 31-year-old had a contract with the Serie A club until June 2026, but was suspended until March next year after testing positive for testosterone in September 2023.
"The club wishes Paul all the best in his future professional career," Juventus said in a statement.
The former France international thanked the Serie A club and the fans for their support.
"My time at Juventus is over. It was a privilege for me to wear the shirt of the "Bianconeri" and share so many special moments together,'' the forward said in a statement.
"I cherish the memories we made. They continue to live in his mind. Even in the most difficult moments of the past year, your support has been crucial and I want to thank Juventus fans around the world for their compassion," he added.
Pogba has been banned since September 2023 for a positive doping test, but his original four-year ban was reduced to 18 months, meaning the player can resume his career in March 2025.

Pop Pogba has said he is ready to return to Turin, but Juventus have made it clear they have no such intentions and have opened talks to terminate the midfielder's contract.
The midfielder returned to Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2022. His contract with the Italian club was until June 2026.
