Real Madrid's Brazilian star Vinicius will win the FIFA Best Player award, writes the publication "Globo", quoted by Topsport.
The Best award is given to the best player in the world, and this year it covers the period from August 21, 2023 to August 10, 2024.
The Brazilian will be awarded in person in Doha, Qatar. The winner will be officially announced on Tuesday evening.
As is known, earlier this year the Golden Ball slipped away from the Real Madrid star and went to Rodri from Manchester City. Vinicius didn't even show up for the ceremony in Paris in October.
His club Real Madrid then showed solidarity and also boycotted the ceremony on French soil.
