Carragher recommends Bournemouth's Milos Kerkes to Liverpool - 1

Liverpool need a new left-back and Bournemouth's Milos Kerkes is perfect for this position, said former defender Jamie Carragher in an analysis for the Monday Night Football program on Sky Sports, quoted by Topsport.

He added that the Hungarian is capable of helping Andy Robertson, who is going through a difficult period.

Robertson was sent off early in the match against Fulham and the "Reds" only managed to draw 2-2 at home.

"He is going through a difficult period, and as a full-back, mistakes are hard to forgive. They are visible to everyone. His foul was something like an "orange card" (between yellow and red - b.p.). "It didn't look like he was running straight back to the goal. Maybe that's why he got sent off," said the former Merseyside captain.

"A nightmare day for him. He needs help at the moment. He took a very heavy blow early in the game and maybe he should have been substituted, but Liverpool don't have anyone to replace him. Robertson is going through a tough time and that's an issue the club needs to address in January."

According to Carragher, Liverpool should target Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkes because he is talented and has had a strong season.

"Andy Robertson needs help and Milos Kerkes is a real find for Bournemouth. I imagine Liverpool are looking for a player for the position, and the current sporting director of the team brought Kerkes to Bournemouth. "He's playing fantastically in the Premier League and is excelling," added Carragher.
