George Russell starts first in Canada

George Russell (Mercedes) will start from pole position in the Canadian Grand Prix in Formula 1, after recording a lap in 1:10.899 minutes, BTA reports. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) followed him by a tenth of a second. The Briton reached the first place, also overtaking the leader in the drivers' standings Oscar Piastre (McLaren).
