Ludogorets and Copenhagen ended in a 0:0 draw in a control match in Austria, sportal.bg reported.
For the "eagles" this was the third test, as in the first two Rui Motta's team recorded one loss - Slavia Prague (1:2), and one draw - Legia Warsaw (2:2).
In the third minute, the Danes had an excellent opportunity to take the lead, but Robert's shot from a clear position flew over the goal. Just 60 seconds later, Sergio Padt intervened decisively after an opposing player intercepted the ball returned by Kurtulus to the goalkeeper.
Razgradans responded with a dangerous shot by Tekpetey, which, however, hit the right side post.
In the 13th minute, Matsson made a good breakthrough in the penalty area, then shot inaccurately.
In the 34th minute, Kurtulus made another defensive error, which allowed Marcos Lopez to get face to face with Padt, but this time the Ludogorets goalkeeper distinguished himself with a good save. From the ensuing corner, the ball ended up in Garananga, who hit the side post from close range.
Just 120 seconds later, Dinis Almeida also acted unfocused. The ball fell to Zage, who passed it to Amin Shiaha, and only another good performance by the Dutch goalkeeper of the "eagles" kept the score unchanged.
At the very end of the first half, Piotrowski shot from long range, but his shot fell straight into the hands of Oscar Buur.
Copenhagen started more actively after the break, and the post again helped the Bulgarian champion in the 52nd minute. Elias Ashouri broke through from the left and shot towards the far corner, but the ball bounced off the crossbar.
A quarter of an hour before the end of the match, Caio Vidal tried to surprise the Copenhagen goalkeeper with a shot from distance, but without success.
In the 77th minute, Ludogorets miraculously did not find the score. Erik Biele broke free against the Danish goalkeeper, but his shot went inches wide.
Three minutes later, Rodrigo Huescas outpaced Anton Nedyalkov and intercepted a cross from the left, but he too was stopped by the side post. Razgrad players organized a lightning counterattack, in which Stanislav Ivanov was inches away from scoring his debut goal with the green jersey.
Rui Mota's players had another great opportunity, but Caio Vidal was slow and the ball was knocked out of his feet by an opposing player.
