CSKA Sofia has sent an offer to the Dutch Cambuur for the team's Belgian winger Benjamin Pauwels, writes journalist Sander de Vries, quoted by BTA.
It is interesting that Pauwels recently turned down an offer from Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev, which was for more than one million euros. It is believed that the young talent will be sold this summer, with CSKA being one of the serious options for him.
Benjamin Pauwels is from the Gent academy, having also passed through Beerschot before moving to the Dutch Cambuur in early 2024. He has a contract with the club until 2027 and a serious transfer fee will certainly have to be paid for him.
Pauwels can play as a left and right winger, and it is in these positions that the "reds" are experiencing very serious difficulties. The striker plays with his right foot. He has one match and one goal for the Belgian national team under 21 years in the 1:2 loss to Sweden. Last season, Pauwels had 35 matches for the youth team of Cambuur, in which he scored 4 goals and gave 8 assists.
