Two Russian fighter jets approached a Polish oil platform in the Baltic Sea at low altitude, the Polish border forces reported, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
The fighter jets approached the "Petrobaltic" drilling platform at a height of 150 meters, an interior ministry spokeswoman wrote in "Ex".
The security zone above the platform was violated, the border service in "Ex" reported.
"The Polish Armed Forces and other services have been notified."
The national border was not violated, a spokeswoman for the service told TVN24.
The oil platform is located in the Polish economic zone of the Baltic Sea, about 70 kilometers north of Jastarnia.
The incident was reported hours after Estonia said its airspace had been violated by Russia.
According to the Estonian military, three MiG-31 fighter jets entered the airspace near Vaindlo Island in the Baltic Sea without permission and remained there for a total of 12 minutes.
Last week, at least 19 Russian drones entered Polish airspace and were shot down by Polish and NATO forces. The incident is the first time Russian drones have been shot down by NATO forces.
