North Korea and Vietnam have signed new cooperation agreements covering the defense, foreign affairs and health sectors. The news was announced today by KCNA, quoted by Reuters, reports Focus.
A delegation led by the leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Tho Lam, arrived in Pyongyang this week to take part in celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the ruling Workers' Party of North Korea.
Lam's visit marks the first visit by a Vietnamese leader to the country in nearly two decades.
