Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that potential funding for the supply of "Tomahawk" missiles to Ukraine could come from three sources: NATO's PURL program, the "Mega Deal" being negotiated with the United States, and frozen Russian assets.

He made these comments during a joint press conference with European diplomacy chief Kaia Kalas, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

When asked about possible options for financing the supply of "Tomahawk" missiles, Zelenskyy offered three options.

""One of the options is NATO's PURL [Priority Ukraine Needs List] program. Through this mechanism, NATO purchases various types of weapons from the United States with its own funds and then transfers to us what we need," Zelensky said.

The second potential source, he added, is a large bilateral agreement with the United States - the – "Mega Deal" - negotiations on which are still ongoing.

"The second option is a direct purchase through the "Mega Deal". "This is a big undertaking and there is still a lot of work to be done," Zelensky said.

He added that funds from frozen Russian assets could also be used to purchase Tomahawk missiles.

"This is definitely a good option," the Ukrainian president said, adding that it was still too early to discuss the exact quantities or terms of potential deliveries.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Trump said that Ukraine could receive Tomahawk cruise missiles if Russia refuses to seek a peaceful solution to the war in Ukraine.

At least four people were injured in a Russian air strike on Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, Mayor Igor Terekhov announced on his Telegram channel, quoted by Reuters and UNIAN.

According to him, Russia attacked the city with guided bombs.

Terekhov also reported that as a result of the attack on the Slobodsky and Saltovsky districts, a large fire broke out in the latter, and three districts of the city were partially left without electricity.

"We have information about a strike on the complex of a medical institution and, according to preliminary data, one of the auxiliary facilities was destroyed," the mayor said, adding that at least 12 private cars were damaged in the attacks.
