Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that a country like Iran, which borders 16 countries, cannot be easily sanctioned, highlighting the importance of relations with neighboring countries, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
During a ceremony today, Pezeshkian said: “If we manage our relations with our neighbors effectively, we can successfully overcome external pressure“.
Referring to the 12-day war, which Iran was not responsible for, and the popular support for the government, the president said: “In a world where aggressors try to impose their will on others, it is our connection with the people that gives us the strength to resist greed“.
Pezeshkian also pointed to the administration's efforts to address imbalances in individual areas, especially in the energy sector, adding that significant progress has been made in the development of solar power plants and that fuel stocks for power plants are in much better condition compared to last year.
