Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga has appealed to all of Ukraine's partners and international organizations for urgent supplies of energy resources to avoid a potential humanitarian crisis after massive Russian bombings overnight, Ukrinform reports, BTA reports.
„Instead of seeking diplomacy and peace talks, Russia continues its brutal strikes on Ukraine. Energy infrastructure and housing across the country were targeted overnight. At least six people were killed, including a young mother with two children. "A number of energy facilities were damaged, leaving settlements without electricity, heating and water," Sibiga wrote on the social network "Ex".
According to him, Ukraine needs additional energy supplies, mobile power generators, repair equipment and expanded air defense capabilities.
The Foreign Minister reiterated President Volodymyr Zelensky's call to strengthen the country's defense capabilities and introduce new, stronger sanctions against Russia.
