Israeli authorities announced that they had killed three Palestinian militants early this morning during an operation in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, the Associated Press reported, quoted by BTA.
According to Israeli police, the men were shot as they emerged from a cave in the Jenin area, a city known as a bastion of Islamist groups.
Shortly afterwards, the Israeli army carried out an airstrike in which the cave was destroyed.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the information about the strike in the area, but did not provide further details.
