No meetings are planned between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the US President's special envoy for peacekeeping missions, Stephen Witkoff, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced today, citing Izvestia, reports Focus.
“There are no such concrete plans yet“, he said. Reuters previously reported that the US special envoy will visit Turkey on November 19 to participate in talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Ukrainian leader said he was leaving for Turkey to “revive the negotiations“.
“We are preparing to resume negotiations and have developed solutions that we will offer to our partners to do everything possible to achieve a complex but sustainable end to the war, which is of paramount importance to Ukraine“, Zelensky said.
