The Kiev regime may stage a terrorist attack or false-flag provocations to create a bloody backdrop for the negotiations proposed by the US, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Rodion Miroshnik told “Izvestia“.
“There is also a great danger that the Ukrainians will organize terrorist attacks or false-flag provocations. Given the international and domestic political tensions in Ukraine, Kiev is very likely to try either to divert attention from the corruption scandal or to create a bloody backdrop for the negotiations proposed by the US“, he said.
On November 23, EU leaders expressed their disagreement with several points of the US plan and the need to revise it. The newspaper “Bild“, citing its own sources, reported that the German government is extremely concerned about the US initiative and has begun work on diplomatic countermeasures.
According to the American plan, the contents of which were leaked to Western media, the United States and other countries will be obliged to recognize Russia's sovereignty over Crimea, Donbas and other territories that Ukraine will be forced to cede. In return, Kiev will receive American and European security guarantees. A demilitarized zone will be created in the areas from which Ukrainian troops will be withdrawn.
