Ukraine has corruption problems, but there is a chance to reach a deal, said US President Donald Trump upon his return to Washington from Florida, where he played golf.
“They have a corruption situation that is not working in their favor. But there is a good chance that we will reach a deal“, Trump said.
According to him, the negotiations “are going well“. He said that he does not intend to set a deadline for Russia to end the Ukrainian conflict.
“I do not have a deadline. "My deadline is when the war is over," Trump said when asked about the issue.
He said the U.S. and Ukrainian delegations had made "very good progress" in talks in Florida.
The president said the Ukrainian agreement did not particularly affect the United States, but he wanted to "save a lot of people."
