Due to thick fog and an increased risk of accidents, ship passage through the Bosphorus was temporarily suspended this morning, TRT Haber reports, BTA reported.
The Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that due to reduced visibility in the early hours of the day, the Bosphorus was closed to traffic in both directions.
After the fog lifts, traffic through the strait is expected to be restored again, TRT Haber also notes.
