French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone call with Volodymyr Zelensky, in which the two sides discussed further steps to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
“I shared that my recent international talks in China helped clarify issues and move us forward. France is determined to work with all partners to adopt de-escalation measures and establish a ceasefire,“ Macron wrote in his Facebook post.
He added that he would visit London on December 8 to meet British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, where they would discuss talks between the Ukrainian and US delegations in Florida on November 30.
