British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper disagreed with US President Donald Trump's assessment of Europe's weakness, Sky News reported.
“I see strength in Europe. Strength and determination to support Ukraine, and also the strength to take responsibility and ensure that we increase our investment in defense, and ensure that we contribute through a coalition of the willing, and through investment in military support and energy infrastructure that Ukraine needs“, the Foreign Secretary said at a press conference in London, responding to a question about the US leader's statements.
In an interview with Politico published on December 9, Trump said that many European countries will soon “cease to be viable“ due to disastrous migration policies. The American leader also expressed the opinion that “most European countries are falling apart“ and that the countries of the continent talk a lot about the Ukrainian conflict but do “nothing” to resolve it.
