Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Facebook that he does not want to be part of "this Europe that supports the murders of Russians and Ukrainians".
“If the life of a Russian or a Ukrainian is nothing for Western Europe, then I do not want to be part of this Western Europe“, he said after a conversation with the President of the European Council Antonio Costa.
On Thursday, Fico announced that he had sent a letter to the President of the European Council outlining the position he would present at the EU summit scheduled for December 18-19 in Brussels.
The Slovak Prime Minister added that he would not support initiatives aimed at financing Ukraine's military spending, which would require Bratislava's participation.
