The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia announced that tomorrow, from 13:00 Bulgarian time, there will be a blockade for the passage of trucks along the country's borders with Bulgaria, Greece, Albania and Kosovo.
The reason - a protest by carriers against the new rules for drivers' stay in the Schengen area countries - up to a maximum of 90 days within six months.
The protest is planned to last up to seven days, but there is a possibility of its earlier interruption, the organizers specify.
Citizens and carriers are recommended to inform themselves about the situation before traveling and, if necessary, use alternative border crossings.
