The US military said it had struck a boat used for drug trafficking in the Caribbean Sea, killing three people, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
The boat was operated by members of "designated terrorist organizations" and was sailing on a known drug trafficking route, the US Southern Command said in H.
The military released a video showing the boat exploding after the attack.
In recent months, US President Donald Trump has repeatedly ordered attacks on boats in the Caribbean and the eastern Pacific, arguing that they are trying to stop cross-border drug trafficking.
Critics say deadly attacks in international waters violate international law. According to official figures, more than 130 people have already been killed in such attacks.
The United States Coast Guard has launched an internal investigation after the discovery of a swastika painted on a recruit training center.
The service has previously been embroiled in controversy over redefining the meaning of the symbol and removing its association with hate, The Washington Post reported, citing sources.
“To anyone who supports or promotes an ideology of hate or extremism - leave! You have no place in the U.S. Coast Guard, and we reject you. We will not allow anyone to taint us with hate,“ the newspaper quoted Admiral Kevin Landay, the service's commander, as saying.
According to the newspaper, an instructor discovered the swastika on the wall of a men's restroom at the training center in Cape May, New Jersey, on February 19. Landay immediately left Washington to speak to 900 Coast Guard recruits and officers.
