AP: Iran's 10-point plan was in Persian, they also included the right to enrich uranium - 1

Tehran's ten demands for a ceasefire, presented in Farsi - the Persian language, which is official in Iran, include a clause for “acceptance of uranium enrichment“, which was not included in the English versions provided by Iranian diplomats to journalists, the Associated Press reported.

The agency noted that US President Donald Trump considered the complete cessation of Iran's nuclear program a key element of the war.

After Iran published its 10-point plan, Trump called it a fraud, without giving details, AP reports.

According to him, he does not guarantee the suspension of Iran's nuclear program and continues to support the regime's aggressive policy. The Iranian plan includes a complete lifting of sanctions and payment of financial compensation for the reconstruction of the country, which Trump considers an attempt at blackmail, not a real peace gesture.

The president described the regime in Tehran as “crazy“ and stressed that allowing such a state to possess nuclear weapons is “a war crime“. According to him, the Iranian proposals are only “temporary truces“ (for example, the Strait of Hormuz) that do not solve long-term threats.

Tehran's plan is in response to the US 15-point peace plan. The US demands full recognition of Israel, an end to support for proxy groups and strict limits on Iran's defense capabilities - conditions that the Iranian plan ignores or rejects.
