Ukrainian drones hit two industrial cities along the Volga River, as well as a Russian port on the Baltic Sea, located near St. Petersburg and from which oil products are exported, Russian authorities said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reported.

The governor of the Leningrad region, where St. Petersburg is located, Alexander Drozdenko, said that a fire had broken out at the port of Vysotsk, where there is a terminal of the company "Lukoil", from which oil products are exported. The fire has been extinguished.

The governor of the Samara region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, reported attacks on industrial facilities in the cities of Syzran and Novokuybyshevsk, about 1,800 km southeast of Vysotsk.

The governor did not specify what the facilities were, but both cities have oil refineries that have repeatedly been targeted in the war against Ukraine.

Russian strikes overnight damaged port infrastructure in the Odessa region and an energy facility, leaving about 380,000 consumers in the north of the country without electricity, officials reported, quoted by Ukrinform.

According to the head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, on Telegram, quoted by Reuters, drones hit warehouses for agricultural products, depots and administrative buildings. According to initial reports, there were no casualties.

Russia has attacked an energy facility in the northern Chernihiv region, the local electricity distribution network operator said.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a total of 219 long-range drones overnight.
