Iran has replenished its arsenal of missile launchers and drones during the ceasefire between the US and the Islamic Republic, said General Majid Mousavi, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

„During the ceasefire, our pace of renewing and replenishing missile launchers and drones is even higher. We know that the enemy is not able to create such conditions for itself and is forced to supply ammunition from the other side of the world“, Nour News quoted Mousavi as saying.

Senior advisers to the Corps warned that if hostilities were resumed, Iran was ready to use missile launchers and drones manufactured in April 2026, denying US claims that their production capacity had been destroyed.

Tehran released videos showing work at underground facilities, stressing that the ceasefire had enabled the rapid restoration of damaged systems.

Contrary to Pentagon statements that Iran's missile program was “functionally destroyed”, according to US intelligence reports, Iran still has about 70% of its ballistic missiles, 60% of its missile launchers and about 40% of its fleet of kamikaze drones.

US intelligence sources have confirmed that since the ceasefire began on April 8, Iran has managed to remove more than 100 new launchers from underground tunnels and bunkers that were not affected by the strikes.

While Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth initially claimed that Iran did not have the capacity to replenish its stockpiles, he later admitted that Iranian forces were "excavating" and recovering hidden weapons.

The two-week ceasefire was brokered by Pakistan on April 8 to allow talks to open the Strait of Hormuz. However, on April 19, President Donald Trump accused Iran of violating the agreement by re-blocking the strait and threatened new strikes if the talks in Pakistan did not lead to a lasting peace.
