Odessa and the region have been attacked by drones from the Black Sea for another night, BTA reported.
The sirens were activated at 01:25 (also Bulgarian time). Regional authorities warned residents of the Ukrainian Black Sea city and district to go to bomb shelters.
According to information in the application "Telegram" explosions were heard in the city of Chernomorsk, near Odessa. There were also explosions in the Danube city of Izmail.
Bulgarians in Odesa region number over 150,000 people and are the third largest community in the region according to the official population census in Ukraine in 2001. About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorodnist regions.
