A 5.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Taiwan. This was announced by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, TASS reported.
The epicenter was located 51 km south of Hualien County with a population of about 320 thousand people. The focus is at a depth of 10 km.
No casualties or damage were reported. No tsunami threat has been declared.
