Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Vasiliy Nebenzya discussed with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic the coordination of the actions of the two parties in the UN on the settlement of the Kosovo agreement, TASS reported.

Nebenzia and Vucic met on April 22 after a UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Kosovo.

"A broad exchange of views took place on topical issues from the bilateral and international agenda with an emphasis on the situation in the Balkans. The parties also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Russian-Serbian relations and stressed the importance of coordinating actions at the UN in the context of the settlement of the Kosovo agreement,” said a statement published on the Telegram channel of the Russian Permanent Mission.

Earlier at a meeting of the UN Security Council, Nebenzia said that the international community must put a barrier against the actions of the Kosovo Albanians and their Western patrons, as well as force them to comply with international law, otherwise conflicts in the Balkans may reach a heated stage.
