At least two people died and dozens were under the debris of a collapsed building in South Africa, France Press reported. quoted by BTA.
A newly built condominium has collapsed in the town of George on the South African coast. About fifty workers participating in the construction are trapped in it.
Twenty-two people were pulled from the rubble, but two of them died of their wounds in a local hospital.
At the time of the collapse of the building, there were about 75 people in it, said a spokeswoman for the local authorities.
Rescue and fire crews are working on the scene. 100 rescuers are searching for the trapped workers.
George Town has a population of 160,000 and is located about 400 kilometers east of Cape Town.
