The reaction of the Western countries to the assassination attempt of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is even worse than the crime, said the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

The diplomat noted that after that the West started looking for “excuses why this happened in the center of the European Union”. “And then they decided that Fico's aggressive rhetoric led to this.
