The armed forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region have begun using Western weapons against targets on Russian territory. This was announced by the commander of the company of attack unmanned aerial vehicles "Achilles". from the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Fedorenko, quoted by UNIAN and Focus.
"In connection with granting permission to use the entire range of weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation, exactly where the enemy keeps his reserves, where he accumulates armored vehicles, from where he inflicts damage, including the cities of Kharkiv from the S-300 installations and S-400, where the enemy has a huge amount of means of radio-electronic warfare, radio-electronic reconnaissance, anti-aircraft weapons, the defense forces began to work, and this is giving its first results. Objectively, the enemy is already in a state where he is reconsidering the need to act in the future with regard to the possibility of occupying the Kharkiv region, since in connection with the complex work of the Defense Forces in the use of fire means, the enemy is currently suffering significant losses in everything – and in manpower, and in technique, and in funds”, Fedorenko declared.
He noted that the accumulation of weapons and ammunition received as part of the aid of the allied countries is now continuing. Fedorenko is convinced that the sufficient amount of these funds will allow to radically change the situation in many sectors of the front in just a few months.
"Our weapons today started firing much more, because the logistics are already working and objectively the Defense Forces have more ammunition, but the maximum accumulation, the maximum concentration will take place in about a month and a half, when we will be able to develop the maximum fire impact on the opponent. In addition, mobilization processes are currently underway in the country... And this means that there will be people in the defense forces who will be able to master Western weapons, which they will subsequently use effectively against the enemy. I believe that in 2.5-3 months the Armed Forces will be able to radically turn the course of hostilities in a number of areas in their favor. This applies to the front as a whole, not only to the Kharkiv region. This applies to the hottest areas that are now on the defensive line”, Fedorenko said.
