"The Swedish Foreign Ministry intends to contact the Russian embassy regarding an alleged border violation by a Russian plane," said Foreign Minister Tobias Billström.
The Swedish armed forces announced earlier that a Russian plane had violated Sweden's airspace, local newspaper Expressen reported.
„The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will contact the Russian embassy to protest the incident,” he told SVT television. The Ministry of Defense of Russia has repeatedly stated that all flights of Russian Air Force aircraft are carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.
