In Belgrade: There is a real threat to the life of the president - 1

The Speaker of the Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, said today on the occasion of a published telephone correspondence between suspected members of a Montenegrin drug cartel, that the public does not realize what danger exists for the life of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, Tanjug reported, quoted by BTA.

Some media outlets are acting like this Skype conversation doesn't exist and that (Radoe) Zwitzer didn't say they were going to hit Vucic, Burnabic said.

Radoje Zvitser is the leader of the Montenegrin criminal group Kavachki Clan.

In front of Happy TV, the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabic, said that "(President) Vucic is the only obstacle to the Montenegrin mafia".

"There is a threat to Vucic's life while Radoe Zvitser is free,”, Burnabic assessed.

According to her, the published telephone correspondence between the suspected members of the Montenegrin drug cartel shows that the only serious and determined fighter against the mafia of organized crime is the president of Serbia. Burnabic said that President Vucic "put his head in the bag when he declared war on the mafia".

She also cited a statement from the published correspondence of suspected drug cartel members that read: "When Vucic is gone, we will be able to do what we once did. When he is gone, we will be able to rule not only Montenegro, but the entire region.

Burnabic said that Vucic is the only barrier to this mafia and added that they are attacking him through the media.

In her words, President Vucic is not only a barrier to organized crime and the mafia in this country and this region, but also a guarantor of the security and stability of the Republic of Serbia.

Ana Burnabic also pointed out that there is fantastic news for Serbian citizens. She gave an example of data from the National Bank of Serbia, according to which more than two billion euros of foreign direct investment had arrived in Serbia by June 10, adding that this was 9.6 percent more than in the same period last year.

"We had a record year 2023 and now again I hope it will continue like this until the end of the year, the circumstances are difficult, but Serbia really achieves historic results in every sense,” said Burnabic.
