North Korea and Russia have agreed to provide one any other military assistance available should any of them fall victim to armed aggression. This is according to the agreement signed by the leaders of the two countries during their meeting in Pyongyang, reports the South Korean news agency KCTA, quoted by BTA.
According to the contract, the two countries will also cooperate in the field of space, nuclear energy for civilian purposes, artificial intelligence and high technologies and will develop bilateral economic cooperation. The two countries will seek to increase commercial exchange.
Their cooperation will also be aimed at countering fake news and informational provocations.
Russia and North Korea also undertake not to enter into agreements with third countries that could threaten the sovereignty and security of either.
A media release also says that during Vladimir Putin's meeting with Kim Jong-un, the Russian leader was presented with a medal in the name of Kim Il-sung for special services to bilateral relations.
The North Korean leader also presented Putin with two Punsan dogs. These are North Korean hunting dogs.
The two countries have also signed a contract for the construction of a cross-border road bridge between them.
