The head of Komi Vladimir Uyba held a meeting of the operational headquarters in Inta to provide help to the victims of the derailment of carriages in yesterday's train accident, TASS reported.
Uiba said that seven injured people will be taken to Vorkuta and Syktyvkar.
„17 passengers arrived by train for recovery in Inta, of them 10 were hospitalized. Two will be transported to their hometown of Vorkuta. Of the remaining eight victims, a 14-year-old girl is in serious condition. She, along with her parents, who are in satisfactory condition, and two other injured people, are being transported to Syktyvkar”, Komi's head wrote on his Telegram channel.
Uiba specified that three people, who are in satisfactory condition, will remain in the central city hospital of Inta. The district head visited the injured in the hospital. The remaining passengers decided to continue along the pre-planned route. They will be taken to Novorossiysk by a specialized reserve train from Vorkuta. Passengers are provided with food and water.
Earlier, the head of Komi signed a decree according to which a state of emergency was introduced in the region to eliminate the consequences of the derailment of a train of cars.
