Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob announced at the end of the NATO summit in Washington on Thursday that Slovenia will double its presence in the NATO mission in Kosovo next year, the Slovenian news agency STA reported. He explained that the alliance's presence in the Western Balkans is being strengthened at the initiative of US President Joe Biden, who knows the region well, as quoted by BTA.
Slovenia will continue to provide financial aid to Ukraine, but will not increase its contribution, Prime Minister Robert Golob also stated at the NATO summit in Washington. He emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
