Former US President Donald Trump looks forward to next week's Republican National Convention despite shootings during his rally on Saturday (US time), BTA reported.
Trump was led off stage by Secret Service agents after shots were fired at a rally in Pennsylvania.
In his social media “Trut Social“ after the event, Trump said a bullet had pierced the top of his right ear.
The Republican National Convention, where Trump is expected to be formally nominated for the presidential election, is set to begin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday (July 15).
A statement from the Trump campaign and the Republican National Convention said he was doing well after the incident.
"President Trump looks forward to joining all of you in Milwaukee as we move forward with our convention to nominate him as the 47th President of the United States," the statement said.
"As our party's nominee, President Trump will continue to share his vision to make America great again.
