Nothing good for Russia has come out of the presidency of Donald Trump in the USA in the period 2017-2021, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, quoted by "Reuters", reports News.bg.
However, he specified that at least there was a dialogue between Moscow and Washington, which in itself is something positive.
Peskov expressed his opinion on Trump's comment about their working relationship with President Vladimir Putin in the past.
"As for whether Putin and Trump get along or not, nothing good was done for Russia under Trump," he added. "On the contrary, more and more restrictions were imposed on Russia. But there was dialogue nonetheless. This can be considered a positive element," according to the Kremlin spokesman.
Peskov pointed out that Russia and Putin are topics that are traditionally discussed during election campaigns in the US.
