A new unknown drone has attacked Kiev. The remains of the drone are being examined and the manufacturer and components from which it was assembled will likely be identified in the near future.
This is what "Ukrainian Pravda" says about it. The release refers to the Defense Express project.
In the morning report of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the coverage of another air attack, in addition to the Shahed-type attack drones, a UAV of an unknown type is also mentioned.
„The first image of the remains of this drone, which is indeed very different from Shahed-136, has appeared on the web. It was further clarified that he was moving at an ultra-low altitude of 20-30 meters. And the latter directly indicates that it is most likely a kamikaze drone”, says the Defense Express report.
The project claims to have obtained additional photos of the downed drone - “with a possible wingspan of more than 4 meters, radial fins, a thruster and a square-profile fuselage” - from own sources.
„It is possible that it resembles the Russian Zala 421-20 aircraft, which has some similar characteristics. But this UAV belongs to reconnaissance UAVs and therefore would hardly fly at such a low altitude. In addition, unmanned aerial vehicles of this type are not widely distributed and are unlikely to be produced”, says Defense Express.
The project notes that the remains of the drone are being examined, and it is likely that the manufacturer and the components from which it was assembled will be determined in the near future.
