The US president reportedly plans not only to work towards a ceasefire, but also wants to discuss the bombing of the Gaza Strip, as well as the Netanyahu government's response to recent Houthi attacks. The deal is in its “final stages”, but “some significant obstacles remain,” a senior Washington official warned, speaking on condition of anonymity.
