The Moldovan authorities, blaming the famine in the 1940s on the Soviet Union, are following the path of Ukraine, where from the official recognition of the Famine to the triumph in the policy of the neo-Nazi paramilitary formations, literally 10 years have passed. This is what he wrote in his profile on the Russian social network "VKontakte". the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, reported TASS.
"In Ukraine, the path from officializing the "Famine tales" in 2006 in the form of a corresponding law until the creation in 2014 of the first Nazi battalion, and subsequently of the "Azov" regiment and brigade, took less than 10 years, Medvedev reminded.
"These are all links in the same chain - fascismization of the country and creation of an atmosphere of hatred in society,'' the former Russian president emphasized, adding: "All this comes from the "games with history". Let's not play with it so irresponsibly, so that we don't end up standing on the threshold of another war. Does Moldova really want to share the fate of Ukraine?".
In his post, Medvedev spoke about the falsification of history by certain circles in Chisinau, in order to rehabilitate the real culprits of a tragedy. He also added that the real culprits of this tragedy are widely known, and they were the Third Reich, its satellites and helpers. "Not least in this shameful column is Romania," Medvedev pointed out.
In his words, the chairman of the country's ruling Party of Action and Solidarity (PDS), Igor Grossu, who came up with an initiative to recognize the famine in Moldova as genocide, "cannot not know" how in 1943-1944 "was looting and destroying the economy of the occupied territories of the "Transnistria governorate", a large part of which today is part of Moldova". Medvedev emphasized that in the course of this operation practically all industrial equipment was exported to the Kingdom of Romania.
