French airline "Air France" (Air France) announced today that it is suspending flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut at least until tomorrow, August 26, due to the escalation of tensions between Israel and Lebanon, reported Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA.

Tonight the British air carrier "British Airways" (British Airways) announced it was canceling flights to and from Tel Aviv until at least Wednesday due to rising tensions in the Middle East.

"Security has always been our absolute priority,", an airline spokesperson emphasized.

The Israel Civil Aviation Authority announced this morning that flights to and from Tel Aviv have resumed after departures were delayed and landings diverted to other airports in the country.
