Briton working for Reuters killed in Russian strike on hotel in Ukraine the city of Kramatorsk in the eastern Donetsk region last night. Four other Western journalists were injured, DPA reported, citing BTA, citing local authorities.

Earlier, the Reuters agency reported that one person from its six-member team was missing and two were injured in the missile attack.

Subsequently, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadim Filashkin, confirmed that the body of the British media journalist was recovered from the rubble of the Sapphire hotel.

Four of his colleagues from Reuters - a Ukrainian, an American, a German and a Latvian - were injured, respectively, with fractures, cuts and other injuries.

Two women who live in the area were also injured.
